Hiya, I’m a digital artist with a passion for creating immersive worlds, crafting character designs, exploring abstract landscapes, and pushing myself into new projects. I’m driven by a desire to tell stories and evoke emotion through the power of digital art.

A Little About Me:

My journey into digital art began with a love for traditional oil painting and a fascination with light and color.  I’m constantly inspired by historical influences, the aesthetics of bokeh, the world of literature and strive to blend those influences with my own unique vision.

I thrive on character design, concept art, and modern landscapes.  I’m fascinated by the process of taking an idea from a fleeting thought to a fully realized visual, and I’m always experimenting with new techniques and tools to push my creative boundaries.

Digital art is more than just a hobby for me; it’s a way to connect with the world and express myself.

My Work:

I specialize in digital paintings.  My work often features out of focus compositions, a preference for vibrant color palettes, a love for fantastical landscapes, and how it all interacts with texture. I make stylized and somewhat surreal depictions with a strong emphasis on color and texture. I use a very deliberate and painterly (impasto) style, with thick brushstrokes and an almost textured appearance. It’s not a photorealistic representation; rather, it leans into a dreamlike quality. I’m a self-taught artist with 24 years of experience in oil and acrylics.
